Not if it is done correctly!. Lidocaine first and "cautery" after to stop the bleeding and make sure it doesn't come back!. Hurts a little after the lidocaine wears off, but not much more than a bruise or avarage cut!.
A determatologist (skin doctor) can take care if it in his office!.

hi I have had a mole removed from my back i would not say it was large but it was big enough for my concern when i had this removed it was uncomfortable and i felt a little sick because i did not eat before hand but i couldn't say that it hurt they do use a local anesthetic i think that's the worst of it so try not to get to upset about it you will be fine!.
