Benefits for fibromaylgia patients?
Just wondering if there are any benefits for medical needs or tax breaks for persons with fibromaylgia and chronic fatigue syndrome.

I have fibromyalgia and have had it for years. Mine is more on the severe side, I applied for and got Social Security Disability. It took me two years of filling out paper work, waiting for appointments,waiting for a court date only to get denied. After getting denied I filed an appeal two times and finally won. You have to had worked so many years to equal "credits" to qualify for soc sec disability but for those who have not worked you can get SSI. I did not get a lawyer when I filed because I figured I am just as sick with out one as I will be with one and the judge will see that and I didn't feel the need to waste the money, but most people do get a lawyer.
