Does this sound like anal fissure?!

Question: Does this sound like anal fissure!?
My son, age 9, has had rectal bleeding on and off for a year or so!.
He's usually regular (daily bm); sometimes he says his stool is like oatmeal consistency!. Yesterday he wiped and there was "a lot" of bright red blood on the toilet paper (I didn't see this- his dad did)!. The only thing I've seen is a little red in his stools!. He says it doesn't hurt when he's going poopy!. I took him to the dr and he seems to think it's an anal fissure!. He recommended benefiber (thinks he's constipated) but that made my son feel sick and go 3 times in one evening!. He has another dr!. appt!. tomorrow!. Just want to know if anyone has experience with this!. !?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Andy your a jerk,
Don't listen to these small minded jerks!.
I would say, keep doing what you are doing and take him to a doctor and get regular visits intoll the problem goes away!.
it could be a parasite too!.
or not eating right may cause it
stick with the fiber!.
Andd yes it might make him sick, but that should go away when the body regulates it'self again!.!.
But I am no doctor, soo continue to take him!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

At 9 years old, anal fissure is the most likely cause, but a year is a long time and it seems to recur more than it should - if your doctor doesn't suggest additional testing to allay your concerns, you should seek another doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

My spouse had those!. For his age I might try fiberchoice, it is a chewable tablet that does not taste too bad!. If he is going too much then, reduce the dosage a little!. It could also be something in his diet causing it too, because certain foods will cause gassiness!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

the DR can tell buy doing a rectal exam talk to your DR he will tell whats going on!. fissure will take a long time to heel there in a bad place can't keep pressure off them Www@Answer-Health@Com
