Can a Kidney Infection cause a sore throat?!

Question: Can a Kidney Infection cause a sore throat!?
I went to the doctor because my throat hurts and I've been really sick at my stomach, chilling, and have stomach pain!. For me, the worst symptom is the sore throat!. I feel like I'm choking, and there are small white blisters in my throat, and then deeper down there are large white blisters!. I swear it feels like there is fur growing in my throat and my tongue, lips, and roof of my mouth are feeling sort of numb and tingly!.

The doctor diagnosed me with a Kidney Infection!.

I had no clue that a Kidney Infection could give you a sore throat! I don't doubt that I have a Kidney infection, but I can't help but wonder if there is not an additional problem causing the sore throat!.

Is it really true that the Kidney infection could be the cause of my throat symptoms!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
You probably had a strep throat and that can lead to a kidney infection!. Honestly you can have strep without symptoms!. I have had it!. Once my mom took my sis and bro to the Dr, but back then when one had strep they swabbed the whole family - they came back neg and I had it and I had no symptoms!.

Your sore throat and numbness does sound like a reaction to the meds if you were given any!!. You need to go back and be seen again! Please GO! and report back on progress!.

Is very important not to ignore this!!
I am sorry you feel so miserable!Www@Answer-Health@Com
