Question: Sick with Diabetes and Heart Problems!?
My grandmother is on Warfarin, or Cumoudan (same thing)!. The doctor just called her and told to stop taking Warfarin for right now because her blood is too thin!. Could that be the reason why she's been sick!? (vomiting, tired, weak!.!.!.!.)Www@Answer-Health@Com

too thin blood makes any little bump into a mighty bruise and that is so very unsightly!. Yes, I have very thin blood from taking the little 81mg aspirin tablet!.
I think it doesn't have much to do with the illness you state!. Something else is wrong too!. Did the doctor suggest anything else!? or did she mention to him that she was tired, vomiting and weak!? Sometimes we think the doctor doesn't need to be bothered with some small minor "inconveniences" that we are suffering with, so we neglect to tell him about these!. What doctor has diagnosed could be one reason!.In old age the parastaltic movement of the intestines slows down effecting the digestion!.Low hemoglobin or infection in liver!.blood in stool and a urine infection should be ruled out!.Go to a good G!.P!.or a gastroentrologist!.He may like to investigate in these areas by priscribing you the following tests:!.hemograme,serum creatinine,,sodium potassium,liver function test,urin examination and stool for occult blood!.Don't ignore it!.In the mean time you can put her on 1cap!.a day of long acting combination drug of pantaprazole 40mg!. and domperidom 30mg!.in consultation with your doctor!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
