Answers:

yeah a brown recluse will kill a lot of tissue, depending on how soon after bite it was treated and poison removed/disabled. it will leave a scar and the size of scar will depend on treatment rendered at that time.

they have some otc products for removing scars, but if it left a deep hole, might wanna consider plastic surgery.

HOWEVER, i would look at it as a badge of courage; and should anyone have the nerve to mention it, i would say, "thats where the brown recluse bit me...what about it.....punk?" lol. it will heel up alright....GL with it!

addendum: i was in prison and they were VERY common. and where i didnt get bit myself i saw many who did. um, the medical staff did not treat them correctly and the bights can be very serious. and make no mistake, br spider is about the only one in north america that can hurt you, (blk widdow, tarantuala and thats about it)..but it is important to get the small amount of venom out asap...ive seen huge holes left in people by those things. and ive also seen some guys performing their own surgery to remove poison and i dont know which was worse.....just do what doc tells you unless you are on a puter at a prison and in that case remove poison asap!
