I believe this is still largely being researched!. Of course there is the link between HPV and certain types of cervical cancer, but even this is still being investigated!.
When I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, the oncologist mentioned that a mononucleosis infection (the Epstein-Barr) virus may have played a role in mutating some DNA in my lymph node cells, which could have led to the cancer!. I will never know!.
You may get different opinions on this, but as far as I know the links between cancer and viruses are definitely hot topics in research right now!. One day viruses may even be genetically engineered/manipulated and used to treat cancer! Which is pretty cool to think about!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

No one knows for sure if any infectious diseases are cause for alarm for cancer, but HPV has been clinically documented to cause cancer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Extremely extremely unlikely!. Unless you have some viral infection and ususally even then the body will correct itself!. However sometimes you body screws up and is not able to kill off the cells with the defunct dna and then some cancerous tissues might survive!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
