What happens if you don't get treatment for a hernia?!
Question:
What happens if you don't get treatment for a hernia?
My uncle lives in a foreign country, and has some sort of pretty severe abdominal hernia. He was told to not walk a lot, and hasn't had the surgery in several months. What could happen to him?
Answers:
If the hernia becomes strangulated, circulation will be cut off and the tissue will die. Fecal bacteria can then grow and spread into your abdominal cavity and you'll be in serious trouble.
