I have a diarreah problem, what can I do to cure it?
About 4 months ago I went to a chinese restaurant and since then I have a diarreah problem that comes and goes every other day. What can I do to detect the problem? Could it be parasites? or another kind of infection? First time in my life that I have this kind of problem.
Please help. It is not Irritable Bowel Syndrome.
I have had Imodium, Flagyl, Antibiotics, etc....
nothig seems to work..... :o(

Less often, various sugar free foods, which sometimes contain poorly absorbable materials, cause diarrhea.Chronic diarrhea is frequently due to many of the same things that cause the shorter episodes (infections, medications, etc.); symptoms just last longer. Some infections can become chronic. This occurs mainly with parasitic infections (such as Giardia).
