Why do ears get red?
My ears get red, hot, and itchy. Why?

most of the time if this happens then disappears after a short time or mayb some time... it's allergic reaction to something.
When i would go in every wk. to get allergy shots to build up my immunity... i had a terrible reaction to one shot... so bad that not ONLY did my ears get red but my whole face & neck. I felt like I was on fire as well embarassed b/c i had to go back 2 work for important meeting. Everyone was real concern. When I was done... i called the Tech. to tell her that I had a terrible reaction. She made a note of it. I jst kept putting cold wet towels on my face but it took awhile b/4 it went away.
I've had the same reaction w/ certain perfumes.. where my ears would get red. Also ears & neck & upper chest area. Sooo u mite take mental note next time it happens again so either to avoid that or tell an allergist.
