hello, i was wondering since high temperature kills germs, will hot Coffee kill my sore throat germs!? or will it just get worse, or have no affect at all!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you have an infection the body increases the body temperature to kill the virus as you say it also releases antibody's to attack and kill the virus hence drinking anything hot will not kill the virus in your throat because there are no antibody's being released from the coffee or any other hot drink to help fight the virus at the same time, you should take vitamin C this is nature's natural antibody and will definitely make you feel better!. Coffee cannot kill any germs!. It may be soothing to a sore throat but nothing else!. Taking pain medication (tylenol or ibuprofen) on a regular basis, gargling with warm salt water, cold fluids and if it gets worse and worse, getting a strep test done will all help with a sore throat!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
