Question: What new treatments are available for type I diabetics!?
what medical advances have been made ie,pancreatic transplant, beta cell stimultation, graphs, etc !.Have a fifteen year old who has had about all he can stand with needles and pumps and monitors!.!.!.looking for help

Pancreas transplants are available, as are islet cell transplants, but these aren't truly cures!. Your son would need to go on anti-rejection drugs for the rest of his life, which to me, are worse than the insulin pump!. And I'm pretty sure a 15 year old wouldn't even be considered for the surgery!. Typically, people who have significant complications are considered!.
Is your son in a support group of any kind!? I know my support group is a saving grace for me!. Sounds like he's going through some grief right now, and being 15, its not a surprise!. I'd check out some support groups around you!. Call your endo or diabetes educator!.
