These sound like fibrocystic type of lumps!. Cancerous lumps do not shrink and don't change so much after/during your period!. If anything they get bigger over time!.

It's good you are having a mammogram, but since you are 32 you really need an ultrasound!. If you are at high risk you may need an MRI as well!.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer at your age, but I found out later I had a genetic mutation for it!. Breast cancer does happen in women in their 20s and 30s but it is NOT very common!. So I wouldn't bother scaring yourself with information, but if you do find out it's cancer, there are organizations out there to help you and specific needs you would have being 32 years old!.

I just really hope that you will insist upon an ultrasound and maybe an MRI to be sure of what these lumps are!. They do NOT sound like cancerous lumps, so try not to be too anxious about it!. But it would be worse if you had the mammogram and it missed something!. With a palable lump (one you can feel), an ultrasound is the single best test, especially in women under 40!. A mammogram is simply not enough!. I'm glad your doctor sent you for a mammogram, but she/he needs to know that it can miss cancers in young women!. My lump was NOT seen on the mammogram and was diagnosed with an ultrasound!. An ultrasound is the standard of care in your case!. If your doctor doesn't listen, tell them it's the standard of care -- if it came back later as something bad, you could sue him/her !.!.!.

Anyway this is all not to scare you at all, because the type of lumps you describe, your doctor is probably right that they are fibrocystic lumps!. But be sure that's what they are!.

Best to you -- I think you're going to be okay!.

Im with your doctor on this cancer doesn't change like that it steadily SLOWLY grows and it doesn't move like that!.

Go for your mammo but!.!. I know its hard to say but don't worry!.
That does NOT sound like cancer!.
Cancer is not the way it used to be, its being found earlier and being treated!.!.

i had something similar, it was just a cyst though!.!.many women are more prone to cysts than others, and can have them all over their body, sometimes they become more prominent around that time of the month!. i'm sure you will be fine sweetie, best wishes! *hugs*Www@Answer-Health@Com
