What is the quickest way to bring down a fever?!

Question: What is the quickest way to bring down a fever!?
Answers:
Don't get in a cold bath ever with a fever, use a tepid bath or shower!. It's below your body temperature but a cold bath or shower is a shock to the body, especially when you have a fever!.

Also, Motrin (Advil, ibuprofen) or Tylenol will bring a fever down some!. I find Motrin helps me more so than Tylenol!. I stay away from tylenol as I know someone that died from taking a little too much for a migraine then had two glasses of wine with her dinner!. Her organs shut down over the next week!. Also, NEVER take tylenol with alcohol and better to take a maximum of one to two grams a day of it!. (Each extra strength acetominaphin is 500 mg, taking two is 1 gram!.) Stay at a lower dose than higher!.

Rest and drinking fluids, especially water and 100 percent juice can help along with the rest!.

lay in a tub of cold water!. Old wives tales say that a high fever will fry your brain!.!.!.!.what it does is weaken your immune system so, infections set in easily and twice as fast!. Keep the fever down and go see a doctor!. Being born in a family of 11 kids and poor my Mom broke many a fever with seven up, asprin and prayer!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

The best way is Ibuprofen and if that doesn't work after a couple hours use some tylenol!. Drink a lot of fluids too!.
Do not soak in a cold bath as this isn't a safe way to bring a fever down!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Cooling Pads, and Broad Spectrum Antibiotics, and the ER!. Fever = infection!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I use aspirin, and vitamin C,it seems to work for meWww@Answer-Health@Com
