my grandmother is going to have surgery for a thiriod cancer i dont know what it is or if its life threatening im only 12 years old im very scared for her can any one help me plz Www@Answer-Health@Com

Hi! I have Thyroid problems but not Cancer however I had my Thyroid killed with Radiation it is still there but DOES NOT function (work at all) I have to be on medication for life but can live so hopefully they can remove hers and she will be fine!. I choose to leave mine due to being chicken to have surgery but removing it is a option!. Pray Pray Pray! She will be fine! The BEST of luck to your Grandmother & your family my father has/ HAD Cancer so I know how worried you can be but he is cancer free for a year now!!!Www@Answer-Health@Com
The thyroid gland is in the base of the neck and produces Endocrine that helps the body to grow!.If doctors have decided on surgery, they must think they can help your Gran So do not be sad she!. could be home before you know it!. Any cancer is scary but, it is treatable and hopefully your grandmother will be cancer free soon!. I had cancer in my neck and went through all the treatments and now I am cancer free!. It can be beaten!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
my grandma has diabetes and meningitis!. meningitis is a very bad disease!. all you can do is boost up her confidence in her self and tell her everything will be alright!. believe in her!. you can pray too!.
