White bump on face???!
Question:
White bump on face???
i have read other people's questions about white bumps on their face, but mine doesn't really sound like theirs...
its not a white head, because i know what they are and thats not it.
it looks about the size of a thumbtack maybe, and you can only see it when i bend my upper lip in (like when you bite your lips).
it is a raised bump and looks white when you see it.
i have put all kinds of acne cream things on it, but none of them seem to work.
i guess i'll go to my doctor and then a dermatologist, but i'm kinda scared, because some people say it might be skin cancer
my friend told me it could be a water bubble, but is there even such thing? and if there is, what is a water bubble and how do you treat it?
Answers:
You may have what is known as a blind pimple - does it hurt. If it is tender the best thing to do is to treat with warm compresses to draw out the pimple - whatever you do - do not try to pop it. You should see a dermatologist if it doesn't clear up.
skin cancer usually is a raised bump/usually has a little discoloration and is usually not uniform (like a perfect circle)
