Malarone side effects.?!
Question: Malarone side effects!.!?
I'm going to Goa in November and will be taking Malarone!. I am a bit concerned however that the side effects will ruin my trip!. Have you or anyone you know taken Malarone and what side effects did you have!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

malarone has the least side effects of the malaria medications!. But any med can have side effects!.
The big thing is to take it with food or milk!. It helps to reduce any side effect!.
In general the most common side effects can be GI upset (nausea/vomiting/diarrhea), headache, itching (only seen in children)
I haven't personally had any problem with malarone nor have any of my patients that I have Rx for!. I do have issues with larium (one of the alternatives) so prefer malarone!.
You will take it starting 1-2 days before you enter the area and then for a week after you get back!. Malarial medication doesn't mean that you can go without bug spray or other protections - all these preventative measures work together!.

this is why your supposed to start them 2 weeks befor the trip!.
they put me in hospital!. i had servere kidney pains and vomiting on the 5th day of taking them!. luckly i was at home!.
just take them 2 weeks befor you go, and any side effects will show them selves!. drink plenty of water!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
