I can't smell anything at all ?!

Question: I can't smell anything at all !?
i was just sitting by my computer and there was a vase with roses i tried to smell it but i smelt nothing !. So i went into the kitchen and i couldn't smell garlic , onions , even really strong perfume !. Is it because i've had a really bad cold since Thursday though my nose isn't really stuffed up or anything !. So is it normal to not being able to smell when you have a cold !? How long does it usually last !?

Thank you Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
It's just a part of the average cold!. When you get sick, you produce more mucus, in term clogging your Nasal Passages ( olfactory cells ) Thus, you aren't able to smell much!. Mucus is produced more during colds!. If you blow your nose in the shower, with the Vapor from the hot water, it clears it up!. Once your cold lets up, you olfactory cells should be functioning as they should!. It's just a part of the cold, nothing to worry to much about!.

Doesn't have the cold just suck!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

You have a cold and yes this can disrupt your sense of smell and will last most likely till this cold clears up or part way you will get your sense of smell back be thankful for the temp wont have to smell any nasty stuff for a while LOL LOL Www@Answer-Health@Com

I was having the same problem until I went to work and cleaned some stalls yesterday!. Ammonia sure helps clear the nasal passage ways ;)

It is normal and you should be better soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
