Question: Concerned about Cancer!?
I have a disease called Fibrocystic Breast Disease or FBD, although it is not cancerous- it can impede the detection of cancer!. It is very painful, but now I am becoming concerned!. About 2 to 3 months ago, my left breast (the very bottom of the breast, as it flaps over) has become even more painful!. It feels like a sharp pain that penetrates into my rib cage/heart!. And when I touch it or feel for a lump the pain increases!.
Could this be serious!? I know I should be concerned and go to a doctor, but which doctor!? My Gyno or Physician!? Does anyone have any advice from personal experiences!? Any doctors out there!?!?

I also have FBD!. I would go to the doctor who could send you for a mammogram the fastest!. If nothing shows there, then they might suggest some ideas or meds to make the situation less painful!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
FBD produces painful cysts, breast cancer lumps are rarely painful!.
The lump causing your current pain is probably a cyst, but this needs to be confirmed and if possible, aspirated or removed to reduce you discomfort!.
See whichever Dr you normally see for your FBD and get this checked asap!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I would get it checked out by your GYN!. Many people have FBD but if it is hurting that badly you need to get it checked out so you can at least get something to control the pain!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
