Cold and Flu virus can't survive above 80 degrees?!
Question:
Cold and Flu virus can't survive above 80 degrees?
Answers:
This refers to a study done in Germany in 1989 regarding steam saunas. The study found people who used a steam sauna twice a week got half as many colds as those who didn't. They concluded that when use a steam sauna you inhale air hotter than 80 degrees, a temperature too hot for cold and flu viruses to survive. I presume this has to do with airborne cold and virus droplets, not the virus' survival after it has invaded your body.
