Question: Can I use Yeast Infection Cream if I have my period!?

I am on my period right now but I have a yeast infection (ughh) I just bought Monistat anti-fungal cream and was wondering if I could use it now!? I know I can't use tampons with it!.!.!.but even so!?

Hold off on the Monistat until your period is almost over!. Menstruation increases the vaginal pH and diminishes the yeast cells and keeps them from reproducing!. So while your on your period, your own good bacteria is working to clear up the infection!. As soon as your cycle is almost finished, then start using the Monistat!.
