Do I really need to take up to 6 months of doxycycline?!

Question: Do I really need to take up to 6 months of doxycycline!?
I have been on doxycycline for a month already for what the dermatologist diagnosed me as a category of acne that suddenly developed!. This past month, I have seen some improvement on some acne but they are still present, just looking like they are about to die off!.

However the back side of the cheeks are still pretty spread out with red marks and little bumpy feeling!. I don't know if these red marks are really acne since my face has gotten a lot smoother now!.

Do I really need to take up to 6 months worth of doxycycline to have them competely gone!? Do u think 2-3 months will actually do!? Thanks Www@Answer-Health@Com

i broke out once from old makeup in the creases that are between your nose and mouth when you smile, thats the only place, and my dermo tried to tell me i needed to be on doxycycline for 2 months, i think once it goes away you should be fine!.!.!. 6 months is probably just a scam for them to collect more insurance or something!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Doxycycline is an antibiotic and when you take antibiotics you destroy the good biotics in you stomach!. You must take a probiotic afterwards to regain the good flora inside your gut!. Taking Doxycycline for six months seems a bit long though!. I would have to say check out a product called "skin zinc" it works wonders on all types of skin rashes and other problems such as psoriasis and eczema!. It's not going to take long for the skin to clear up from this product, we're talking days!. It also won't mess with your digestion system!. Doxycycline has been also known to help vets with gulf war syndrome but that's way more serious than some pimples!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
