{1.} What everyone else said above.
{2.} You're body does try to fight off the yeast infection like it would any other infection. If it's very mild, sometimes it will go away on it's own. I use to get yeast infections when I had PMS because my hormones were out of wack. 90% of the time, the yeast infection went away on it's own when I get my period. If the symptons continue, get an over the counter medication. Most doctors would recommend using a 7 day treatment when you have a yeast infection to make sure it's fully treated.
