Why hasn't a cure for cancer been found yet?!

Question:

Why hasn't a cure for cancer been found yet?

So much money and so many man-hours and so many years have gone into finding a cure for all types of cancer, does anyone else get frustrated by the lack of results? I know we have made great progress but there are still so many people dying from these horrible cancers and it seems that we're still not 100% sure what causes it?

Answers:

REST EASY Almarj-saan,
Medical science is a continually evolving science. In respect to your posting, seeking for cures for all cancers, this is such an imprecise target with such a wide range of each prognosis. A single (bullseye) target for a specific antigen that causes "a cancer" may not effect many other forms of this ailment in others.
In the past 75 years or more, the scope of the medical sciences has only "scraped" the rhelm of potential CURES for the ailments that we suffer.
%My own mother had passed away (2002) with cancer and her Hyperglycemia (Type-1 Diabetes.) OH, HOW I KNOW THAT MY FATHER AND ALL WISH HOW THE MEDICAL SCIENCES LEARNED MORE THAN THEY DO NOW!
