When I was preggers with my Son a huge patch of my thigh lost all feeling, it was on the skin so didnt interfere too much it just felt strange and when he was born it returned to normal within a few days.
I have just had another baby and once again I had this all the way through my pregnancy although a little worse. My baby is now 10 weeks old and I still have it, it hasnt improved at all. Does anyone know whats causing it and how I can cure it. Incidentally I developed back problems in my first pregnancy so not sure if its related.

This sounds like compression of your lateral cutaneous nerve of your thigh. This is quite common in pregnancy and is normally due to fluid retention. It is not related to your back, back pain is also very common in pregnancy. It normally resolves with time without any treament.
