than, this summer he was quite ok!. Now he's started with daily nursery and he has it again!! doctors say don't warry, that's normal, he is healthy and it will pass!.!.

Whooping cough is still very much around these days and is not 100% avoided even in the fully vaccinated, though it is much less common!.
It was once called 'the 9 month cough' so he is still in that timescale!. Provided the infection was proven serologically by blood test, and his chest X-Ray is clear, the options are to wait for it to go away or to get your GP to try 4-6 weeks of inhaled steroids as these often help to re-stabilise the respiratory mucosa!. Sometimes houses get a bit dry ( even if you have damp patches in places), you can buy humidifiers that send a stream of warm air around a child's room!. It sounds like he's been ok during summer because the temp and humidity is different!.

When children start school/nursery they often pick up every infection going!. They acquire immunity this way!.
