Answers:

Hello
Polycystic Syndrome is when the insulin levels in the body are high.
Symptoms of this syndrome are hair loss, dark skin in areas like the underarms, or genitals, or excessive body hair, an irregular menstrual cycle, or obesity.

People who have this syndrome are very prone to developing a cyst in their ovary, and you should confirm with your doctor if you have one, ASAP. Cysts would be removed using surgery. But it will not be serious if the cyst is discovered early.

If there is no cyst, then not to worry, your doctor would probably put you on birth control pills, or if you are aiming to get pregnant, fertility medicine.

The best way is to change your lifestyle, to that of a healthy one of course. Exercise, and a healthy diet.

Good luck!
