Question: What can we do to treat lice effectively!?
Ok this stupid stupid lady who was babysitting my niece and her had kids had lice and she didn't think to tell my brother and sister-in-law before she agreed to babysit her!. I am the one who found out they had lice because i asked the lady's daughter why her hair was cut so short her words were "My mom said not to tell, but i have lice!." So yeah she just didn't even mention it or anything!. My sister in-law has tried everything!. She continually washes the house all the time and she has been treating my nieces hair with tea tree oil, they bought an electric lice comb thing, they even cut it shorter to help get the nits out cause she has such curly hair!. so they thought she was clear and the preschool approved her to go!. They check all the kids for lice every day there and she hasn't had a problem in a few days!. So now today my sister-in-law has found more nits!!! How the Hell can we get rid of them, and I'm really worried I have them too what do we do!?

Pediatricians can prescribe a shampoo that is better than any you can buy over the counter!. You must treat anything their heads come in contact with, and linens are especially important!. Have her try ironing their pillow cases and sheets!. We fought lice with my daughter for months before we got it stamped out (the shampoo from the doctor plus ironing), so I know this can be so frustrating!. Oh, also soak their combs and hair brushed in an alcohol solution!. You have to think of anywhere they could be and treat them all at once!.
