Hi Dolphini!.!.!.

It is difficult to know if you are overweight because we don't know how tall you are!. If you are tall, then your weight is probably just fine!. If you are short, then you might be overweight!.

I also have Type 1 Diabetes!. Like me, you probably have to see the doc once or twice a year!. You can ask him/her that question, or any doctor for that matter!. You can probably get a weight chart from your school nurse, too!.

It IS important not to get too low in weight for anyone, but more so if you have Diabetes!. You risk putting your glucose levels out of whack!. There are some pretty easy ways to lose weight!. The important thing is to dod it slowly over time!. First of all, never skip meals!. For example, if you skip breakfast, you will have a hard time losing weight!. When we sleep, our metabolism slows down!. When we wake up & eat, we "jump-start" our metabolism, getting it started on burning those calories!. If we skip breakfast, we don't get our metabolism started & it remains slow, not burning many calories!. If we skip other meals, our body gets hungry and goes into starvation mode, where it holds onto the calories, thinking the body needs as many as possible!.

Eat well-balanced meals; but be aware of when your body feels hungry and full!. You do not need to eat everything that's on your plate!. Eat some of everything, but stop when you no longer feel hungry!. Don't wait until you feel full, just not hungry!.

It's important to have small snacks between meals!. They don't have to be large or high-calorie, just enough to tide you over until your next meal!. That way you won't be so hungry when you sit down to eat lunch or dinner!. This also helps keep your glucose levels more even!.

Try to drink a lot of water throughout the day!. Don't just chug down a whole glass of water, then wait a few hours before you drink more!. Keep a bottle with you, if possible, and sip it throughout the day!. This will keep you feeling full and make it less likely to want to snack more than you should!.

It is not possible for any of us to tell you what foods are good to eat and what foods are bad to eat!. That's for a couple reasons!. First, you have Diabetes!. You know what you can and cannot eat for that!. Second, everyone has a different body size, in addition to your height & weight!. There are just generalities that we can suggest!. For example, keep high-fat foods to a minimum!. As I already said, drink a lot of water!. Try to eat enough food with fiber!. This will speed up digestion, which can help you lose weight or not gain any!.

Of course, one important thing is to exercise!. Whether you belong to sports teams or jog or ride a bike, any exercise will help you lose weight and get in shape!. If there are activities at school you can do, like swimming, you should get involved!. Maybe you can try a dance class!. Basically, whatever appeals to you will be something that you stick with!. If it's an exercise that you find boring, you won't stick with it and will quit!. Only you can know what interests you!.

145 is not a terrible weight, no matter what height you are, for the most part!. So, if you need to lose weight, and I say "if," you should not have a hard time!. You won't need to lose much, and it should come off slowly!. If you lose weight too quickly, you will gain it right back!. So, take your time!. And remember what I said about eating only until you are no longer hungry!.

I hope this has been helpful for you!.

I wish you the best of luck!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
