Will I get any long-term effects from lack of sleep?!


Question: Will I get any long-term effects from lack of sleep!?
Ok for the past 2 months, every single night I have been getting only around 1-4 hours of sleep!. yes, EVERY day!. I wake up and im exhausted, but then once i take a shower and the day gets going, i don't feel that tired anymore!. Granted, I do get tired during the afternoon because of lack of sleep, but generally, I feel fine!.

I am wondering, will my bad-sleeping habits have any sort of long-term effect on me!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

When you sleep, your body uses that time to clean house and maintain the body and brain and keep up defenses!. By not getting sleep, you are preventing that to happen!. You will become sick more quickly and easily and stay sick longer!. Granted, some people only need a few hours of sleep and anymore will make them sick, but that is very few and only applies to adults!.
