Question: Is it strange to get diabetes in your thirties!?
I've had a number of infections, fatigue, body aches over the last two years!. Today a doctor said it sounds like diabetes!. I'm maybe 20 pounds overweight!. Anyone else get diabetes at a young age!? If so, did it take a while to diagnose!? Can I ask what your symptoms were!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

I didn't know that I have type 1 diabetes until I was 31!. I had several problems that hampered my energy and physical abilities, but I was always told, so I believed, that I was "just fine"!.

It wasn't until I had become a personal trainer that I learned what I had suspected all along--there must be something wrong with me!. Funny thing, I didn't feel validated or smug when I learned I had a reason for wanting to stay away from ball games!. It didn't mean I was what all the kids made me believe about myself - my body didn't work right!.
Now I know and have the excuse to sit back and use the diabetes for an excuse to sit out of life, but I can't!. I don't want that!. I want to live, I want to succeed, I want to live a good life, and it's hard when I am treated as if I were disabled or excluded from the good life!.

I was diagnosed after I experienced frequent kidney infections and catabolism of the liver!. I was underweight!. I was always thirsty and constantly drinking and using the restroom!. I was irritable, sometimes restless, and impatient!.
It was easy to set me off!. Since knowing about the diabetes and treating it with insulin, I'm back to my calm, stable self!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

It is possible to get diabetes at any age!. Children get diabetes too!. Try googling diabetes to find out more information!. The symptoms you have sound like your body is just changing!. To find out if you have diabetes you would need to have a blood test done by your doctor!. Being overweight is a contributing factor plus your diet and lifestyle!. To put your mind at ease, please speak to your doctor!.
