I have a friend who has been whining that she was an "unconfirmed" diabetic for years!. Now she's pregnant and about to take the blood glucose test!.
If she were truly diabetic, would the test show as much!?
I've been listening to her whine about her "disease" for seriously years, but she refuses to go to the doctor to get tested!. I just wanted to know if she could have diabetes and NOT test positive for gestational diabetes!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

If she's diabetic, pregnant or not, it should show up in the test!. After the brth, they will probably test again, and if it's only gestational, she wll likely test negative!. If she's "playing" diabetic, you can be she'll claim it was positive, even if it wasn't, and there's no way you can prove otherwise!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
If she had diabetes she wouldn't be alive without medication!. If she is tested positive for gestational diabetes then she most probably will develop type 2 at a later stage!.
Your friend needs to be tested when she is no longer pregnant, but surely if she was a diabetic that hasn't been diagnosed, she'd be ill all the time to the point of near death!.
I think she should get checked after her pregnancy!.

If she tests positive I don't think there is any way to know if it is gestational or not!. She should get tested after she has her child!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
