Question: Help with Underactive Thyroid!?
I was diagnosed on Easter with an Overactive thyroid!. I lost weight ( YEA!) but was terrible to live with!.!. (chest pains, anxious!.!. etc) I had the radioactive dye and they put me on meds!.!.!. now!.!. I have gained weight and my thyroid test was 19!.!.(1!.5 - 2 is normal)!.!. so i m under active now!.!.!. he took me off all meds and i have to get blood work in 2 weeks!.!.!.My question is !.!.!. is this normal to go from over to under active!.!.!. when will i feel better and what can i do!? I am so tired of feeling bad for 6 months!.!.!. plus the weight gain is tragic to me!.!.!.

It is possible to go from one extremtity to the other from the meds, it looks like your docter perscribed too much, or you took too much, There are tons of thyroid treatments out there, switch doctors,
