Can i receive help for hepatitis c with no insurance?!

Question: Can i receive help for hepatitis c with no insurance!?
does anyone have any hope to give meWww@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
Both pharmaceutical companies that manufacture the drugs to treat HCV (hep c) have patient assistance programs!. Contact them & they will prescreen you on the phone, then if you pre-qualify, they will send you the paperwork to fill out!. You will need to supply last year's income tax info, and you will have to have a dr!. (gastroenterologist) to follow your care and monitor routine labwork, side effects, etc!. Dr!.'s visits can be costly and some of the labwork (viral loads & genotypes) are very expensive!. Check around locally to see if there is a clinic that treats people with Hep c!. They are few & far between, but they are out there!. Then once you have a doctor, you can get the medication for free through the programs listed below!. I know of many (60+) people who have gone this route!.
Yes, there is hope, but you have to do a lot of legwork to find your resources, but it's worth it in the long run, especially if you respond to treatment!. I've been cleared of hep c for 8 years now!. Best wishes to you!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

apply for federal grants and medicade etc etc!.!.!.!.!.!.!. I have a friend well i dont consider him much of a friend anymore (he got into meth real bad) but he got hep c and he has no insurance or anything and gets treated for it!. I would talk to your doctor or do a search for government grants and aid, I do believe the government helps people with no insurance who have hepatitis and or HIV/AIDS!.!.!. As I said he gets help somehow he was diagnosed with it almost 5 years ago and hes still running around getting all methed out Www@Answer-Health@Com

Well, first of all you need an official diagnosis!. With that you can then talk to your doctor about being in a study tiral!. Schering Plough as well as other pharmicutical companies always are enlisting patients for studies!. I did and I am not sorry!. I responded to the medication!.
One thing for certain is that sometimes Medicaid will cover treatment, but you have to get into a study!. You can apply for Medicaid if you have a diagnosis, treatment is expensive- depending on genotype is how long you will be on the medications!. 48 weeks worth of medication and testing (once a month during your study trial) is about 60,000!.00 u!.s!. dollars!. Most people can't afford that, so chances are Medicaid may help, if not at least you can get into a study trial!. Ask your doctor!.

*for the poster who said her friend made some bad choices!.!.!.!.!.
You'd be surprised to learn that many had hcv long before they snorted or injected drugs!.!.!.!.depression can be caused by a viral infection, which leads to bad choices!. It's not always doing drugs that gave a person HCV- there are many out there who have had HCV long before"!.
Disease
Depression
Drugs!.
It's a cycle as long as HCV remains a problem!.
