Could he be diabetic?
My fiance stayed up late at a party Saturday night, and Sunday he wasn't feeling well. He figured it was because of the party, and drinking. By Tuesday he was feeling worse, and had lost his appetite, so he barely ate anything all day.
Tuesday night, he passed out.
This has happened about 4 times in the past 6 years, and the last time it happened, we took him to the ER. They said he passed out because his blood sugar was too low, and said if it happens again, he should check his sugar levels immediately, then drink some orange juice (or something to get his sugar back up).
He refused to go to the ER or the doctor because he won't have medical insurance until October (he has to be at his new job for 6 months before it starts).
I read that some symptoms are frequent urination and drinking lots of fluids, both of which apply to him. Also, I believe that diabetes is genetic, and his grandpa is diabetic.
Do you think I should make him see a dr or is this just a virus?

Is he on insulin? He wouldn't pass out from low blood sugar related to DM unless he was on insulin.
