Question: Should i go to the ER for strep!?
4 days ago I started to get a soar throat and a fever!. It has gotton so much worse to Ibprophen will not even work!. You can feel it swollen on the outside of my neck, i cant talk my mouth is full of gunk and it seems that my throat was bleeding last night when i slept!. I still have a bad fever also!. I was going to go yesterday but my fever had me in such pain i couldnt move!. I know i should go to a doctor not an ER but i dont have insurance (i signed up for some insurance that will help pay for stuff that i had in the past 6 months, so if i get it then they will pay for my er visit)
What can the er do!? Will it seem bad if i asked them to give me pain meds because im in so much pain or do they not do that for strep!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Oh ok I see, I was confused until I read about not having insurance!. You know I'm not really sure of what they would do, but they have to do SOMETHING so why not give it a try and go!. They might do the usual treatment of antibiotics, and rest, or they might do something completely different, or they might even ask you to see your regular doctor!. But it couldn't hurt to try right!?Www@Answer-Health@Com
Strep would be treated with Antibiotics in addition to Ibuprophen!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
