Please say yes, because a few days I bought it on instinct and now I'm coughing so much I puke!.

Sunny D is just a sugary drink!. It has no real nutritional value!. Drinks like that use citric acid and dub it "vitamin C"!.
If you have strep I imagine that you have a very, very sore throat and I wouldn't recommend acid on that anyway!.
You want to get antibiotics and gargle with warm salt-water!. You might also want to ask the doctor for medicine for the cough!. One time I had a very severe cough when I had some sort of infection in my ears and sinuses, and this cough made me almost gag!. the doctor gave me a prescribed medicine called benzonatate, which is better for a bad cough than simple robitussin!. As for the assumed pain in your throat, you can take advil and tylenol at the same time and it does wonders!.

sunny d is not real orange juice, but might be better than real oj because of the acidity!. water is better!. sodas will aggravate it (in my experience)!. sports drinks should be ok, in moderation!.
