What is wrong with my earring hole?!

What is wrong with my earring hole?
One of my earrings came of when i was sleeping (i got them pierced 8 weeks ago). when i tried to put them back on it would go in half way. so i tried poking it from the back (i could feel something was blocking the path) when i did this goopy stuff came out the other end. it was brownish. anyways i tried this a couple of times and my earring finally went through. that happened yesterday.
i took them out today to clean them and when i tried to put them back in it would go in have way. and again i could feel something was blocking the hole. so i squeezed my ear and and a little of puss like liquid came out... i got the earring back in.
my ear isnt swollen or red. and i do clean it with alcohol. and i sometime put vaseline on the earring so it will go in better. oh and i do wear gold earrings.
what's wrong with my hole?

You shouldn't use the vaseline... having drainage is normal but the vaseline is trapping germs, dust, and everything else that the hole is exposed to. I still get drainage sometimes and my ears have been pierced for years. I use the Clairs ear cleaner... you should go to a ear peircing place and buy the stuff they give away for new peircings to help get the earing in. No more vaseline!
