How come we even use cancer as a way to divide us?!

Question: How come we even use cancer as a way to divide us!?
Isn't cancer the same disease, whether it's of the lungs, breast, skin, or eyes, for that matter!? Shouldn't we come together and seek a cure for cancer as a whole!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes and no!.

While I agree that cancer should be fought on a combined front, the fact of the matter is that there are a myriad type of cancers, and no two types are caused by the same things, respond the same to treatment or even to detection!. Some (such as prostate cancer) can go on for years without treatment - in fact most men will die of something else! Breast cancer on the other hand (or even ovarian cancer) takes far too many lives because the treatments don't work or they're not diagnosed earlier!.
