Answers:
You are correct--HCL would kill a worm--there are no worms in your stomach!. Helminths (the correct term) and flukes and other parasites can be found in the intestines however and in the liver, and other organs!. In the US, you would have to eat something specifically to get some of them (they are not common here); or travel out of the country!. While in many countries where the worm burden is high, there are not many symptoms (except anemia, malnutrition) but in the US where we are not used to them; we would have symptoms: blood in stool, diarrhea, anemia, weight loss, cramps, pass the worm, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

Yes, most people don't want to think about it because it's too gross!. But it is absolutely 100% true!. People can get worms from walking barefoot outside and even having animals!. People can get tapeworms, hookworms, pin worms, round worms and many others!. Go to google and type in "human intestinal worms!." All the results will freak you out!. My husband and I started studying on this when we watched a show on National Geographic call "Eaten alive!." You can go to a health food store and they usually will have special herbs to help you kill the worms, eggs, and then some thing else to flush them out!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

a tapeworm can live in your intestines

one symptom is a big weight loss for no obvious reason

Tropical countries, where refrigeration is a problem , have a variety of worms who can invade the body - eyes, stomach, etc!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

YOu can!. I am not sure how or why, but my cousin was out of the country and was hospitalized recently!. She got food poisoning from bad fish!. THey did surgery and found a live worm in her intestinal tract!. Creepy! Www@Answer-Health@Com
