Teen with Fibromyalgia?!
Question: Teen with Fibromyalgia!?
There are days where I can hardly walk!. Does that mean that on those days I'll either be stuck in a wheelchair or just have to deal with that pain!? Even with pain meds and stuff it helps but never really helps to the point of walking without my eyes watering!.Www@Answer-Health@Com

I have fibromyalgia!. I have for about six years!. I thought I was going to lose my mind with the pain!. The walking was so painful, I thought I was going to need a wheel chair also!. I beleived that there had to be something or someone who could help me!. I never gave up hope!.
I tried all kinds of meds and treatments and none of them worked!.
Instead they made me sicker!. The thing with fibromyalgia, is that when you have one symptom, it will trigger others, and it can be very bad!. I take clonazapam!. Twice a day!. It helps with me with my panic attacks, and the pain just went away!. I have been taking this medication now for four years!. I get the odd pain, but it is nothing compared to the way it was!. It's not a drug that is usually used for fibromyalgia, but it works!. Talk to your doctor about it!.
The other thing I did was I tried to treat each symptom!. That was ok for a while but it didn't last long!. You need to get plenty of rest, all the time!. Avoid yeast, and stress!. Take vitamins and don't try to exercise cause it causes more pain for people like us!. Also even stretching can cause pain so I would avoid it!. Good luck!. If you have any more questions, just ask!. One can't really say they have fibromyalgia unless they had a very specific test that examines for very specific trigger points and pain patterns!. One also cannot say that their condition is hopeless unless they have been to a chiropractor!. I myself suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and the one thing that keeps me going is making that visit to my chiropractor once every other week!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
