Question: Is it harmful to drink handwashing water only!?
I once drank from a tap that was just for washing your hands in!. I was so thirsty and there was no water available but that water!. I was in a nightclub and ran out of money to buy bottled water!. This was about 4 yrs ago!. I'm still alive but is it really harmful!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Some nightclubs might stinge but used to be required by law to provide you with a glass of water to drink should you ask it!. Here some bar staff tell you that they can give you a glass but you have to fill it up from a tap in the bathroom!. I don't know how this could work in cities where the tap water is re-cycled sewage!.
Some water is bad for you!. Different cities treat water differently so in some cities the tap water won't hurt you in the short term, others aren't worth the risk!. Www@Answer-Health@Com

They wouldn't have said hand washing water only if it were safe to drink!. It could have been that it was being fed though lead pipes and if you were to use it as your only source of drinking water would have been harmful eventually!. But if it was only a small amount then obviously you are still here to tell the tale and it did you no harm!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
Water for hand washing may not come directly from the mains but be stored in a tank!. It is therefore susceptible to contamination by bacteria and other things such as bugs, debris and even such things as dead birds!. In general it is not a good idea to drink it!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is not a good idea to drink water that is meant for handwashing your lucky it hasn't made you ill!.If you ask the barman or barmaid they would go and get you a glass of water i have done this and they wont charge you!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
