Can surgery help child with microcephaly?!

Question: Can surgery help child with microcephaly!?
can a child with microcephaly have surgery to open up the skull and give the brain more room to grow to its normal size!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
I have not enough experience on that specific subject, but, i have read that if microcephaly due to craniosynostosis (premature fusing of the joints (sutures) between the bony plates that form an infant's skull) and is detected early, treatment may include surgical opening of the sutures to let the brain grow normally!.

Has this been diagnosed by a physician!? I ask, because we sometimes see children whose heads' circumference fall into the 2nd percentile and they are normal children, just with small heads!.

There is a lot of useful info on the following link, sorry i cannot help you more!.
