Question: OMG doctors think my Dad might have cancer!!!!?
Okay, my Dad went for a physical recently because we KNEW something was wrong (I won't go through the details)!. They found out that he was passing 7 blood cells through his urine, and that wasn't normal there (so they said), and now he is passing 20 blood cells!. Okay, I know this isn't normal, but I was wondering what causing this and why isn't it normal!? I want to understand what is wrong with my Dad because I'm not getting any of this!. I overheard him talking to his mom and dad and I obviously wasn't suppose to know, but unfortunately, I do, and I've been worried sick! They're not SURE if he has cancer, cause they're still running tests, but still, they think there is a high possibility he has prostate cancer!. It's so scary to think about this - but he has been improving some, I can tell!. Whatever it is, there is a cure I know, but my Dad suffers from high blood pressure as well as high Cholesterol, and takes pill for both!. Could high Cholesterol have caused this at all!? High Cholesterol and heart problems unfortunately run in my family, but we've never had a record of any type of cancer or anything like that!.
But anyways, here are my Q's:
1!. WHAT COULD HAVE CAUSED THIS!?
2!. WHAT CAN I DO TO HELP (CAN I HELP)!?
3!. HOW EASILY CAN THIS BE CURED!?
**4!. WHY IS IT TAKING THEM SO LONG TO FIND OUT WHAT THE PROBLEM IS!?!? They're constantly running test after test and I would this by now that they would have at least found out something!

Anyone who does answer!? Girl could you possibly think I would not answer you !? So let's begin and answer your questions one by one !. First of all , calm down and do a lot of praying for him!.
There is no telling what caused this as it is a very common disease in men and todays technology has made it an easy operation and one that about 95 % or more of the men who have gone through it are alive and well today !.
What yu can do to help is relax as much as possible and as I have already told you pray for you and your dad !. Nothing else you can really do and remember if he sees you stressing that will put a ton of strain on him so try ( it ain't easy ) and be as positive and upbeat as you always are around your dad !.
I have pretty much already told you this , but it is getting easier and easier to cure !.
It is taking them so long , because they want to make sure and come up with an absolute identification on what your dad has and how they need to proceed to help him be cured !. The do not want to misdiagnose and then treat your dad for something he does not have !. Be patient with them as they are only trying to do what is best for your dad!.
It may not seem possible , but as I have already said it is a very common disease among men !. You dad is going to be alright especially if you help him out by not showing him you are scared !. Believe you me , he is just as scared as you are and more so !.
As for the high colestral , hign blood pressure , etc!. , many of us old folks suffer from these things and they are very treatable with the medication he is taking !. I have been taking medication for many moons and today I still take about 25 - 40 pills a day !. I am still alive and kicking !. YOu are one of the most loyal young ladies I know of !. Let's just all start praying for you and your dad !.God is the Best person in the world to turn it over to !. It could be as you have said on many occasions that he has just exausted himself by working too hard and this is God's way of slowing him down !. Things are cool right now and you just need to love him and let him know over and over again that you and God are there for him no matter what !.
Love conquers all and we know how much you and God love your dad !.

Ok so I wont be able to answer all the questions I don't know what would cause it but I do know what you can do to help your dad is just be there become more helpful, don't make him as you to do something, Technology is so much more improved if its curable they will fix it!.
Sometimes it takes a lot of tests to determine what is wrong with someone just bear with them!. I know its hard to do!.
As far as your stress trust me I know its hard and its stress full, but they say a positive attitude goes along way!. Take it one day at a time and take a deep breath!. Don't worry about it all at once just wait till the results come in!.

It could be the cause but leave this for a doctor!. Answers from here would set you hopes then you might get disappointed from something you didn't want to see!. Just because cancer doesn't run in your family doesn't mean it's not possible!. But just hope and pray it will all be over soon!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
