What is prednisone tab 5mg?!
Question: What is prednisone tab 5mg!?
I was prescrided this, I have to take these for a skin rash!.!.!. Is it a steroid!? I have to take it like 4 then 4 then 4 and 3 and then 3 and 3 and so on each day i drop a pill! is it a steroid that grows muscle or immunity or what!? does it enhance what is this will it make my rash better!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

it is a steroid but not the kind your thinking lol it wont make your muscles bigger or anything those are like hormones that do that!. prednisone will help cure a bad rash!.!. as well and many other things but trust your doctor if they gave it to you take it!! they went to medical school!! and prednisone is common so don't worry!.!.its not expensive either

you have been prescribed a VERY low dose of prednisone which is a cortico steroid,, not the muscle building type!.!. this is an anti inflammatory to reduce you rash,, often used for crohns disease,lupus,eczema,etc!.!. the reason you are to lower one pill a day is to "wean" yourself off of the drug as the pituitary gland has shrunk when taking it!.!. NOT A BIG DEAL!.!. but do not go off it all together!.!.if you don't like taking it then ask for a topical cream that has prednisone in it!.!. Www@Answer-Health@Com
Prednisone is a corticosteroid!. Anabolic steroids are the ones that make your muscles big!. They are different!. If you take the prednisone like the dr!. says, it will be safe and will make your rash go away!. Corticosteroids are ant-inflammatories!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
It is used for inflammatory diseases!. It also will lower your sex drive!. Not a good choice by your doctor!. Ask for Cyclosporin!. The stuff will even grow some of your hair back, if you are loosing any!. Hope this helps!.Www@Answer-Health@Com
