Question: I need to know about vaccine exemption!?
I am in PA and would like to know about any forms that I need to fill out to be able to get my child exempt from the second chicken pox vaccine that is now required!. Where do I get these forms!? I understand that if a child has had chicken pox they are exempt!. I have one daughter that had the first vaccine and got chicken pox about 4 months later!. and one daughter who had the 1st vaccine but never the chicken pox!. In Pennsylvania, I don't think there is a form available!.
Here is the Pennsylvania law regarding vaccine exemptions!.
"Children need not be immunized if the parent, guardian or emancipated child objects in writing to the immunization on religious grounds or on the basis of a strong moral or ethical conviction similar to a religious belief!." http://www!.pacode!.com/secure/data/028/ch!.!.!.
