Is it possible to break your male genitals?
I think it has happened to me before....but I thought it was just a myth.
Answers:
One can have what is called a "penile fracture." It occurs when an erect penis is bent at an acute angle (eg 90 degrees). This causes a fracture or break in the tunica albugina of the corpora cavernusm of the penis. This in turn results in pain and plenty of bleeding. A snapping sound is often heard. Surgery is frequenty required. It may also result in a tear of the urethra; this does require surgery.
