Question: Would I have been tested already!?
I have hyperthyroidism!.!. so I get my blood tested every 2 weeks!. And I think I might be diabetic!. I show all of the signs!. So, my question is!.!. would my doctor's have already picked it up if I really was diabetic!? Or, when I get my blood tested for my thyroid, are they only testing for that!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

For Diabetes you need to fast!.!.then if its possible they do a second test called a Glucose Tolerance Test!. Involving a blood test then this drink then a second blood test!.

If you suspect you have diabetes, make sure you ask for a test!. Otherwise, it may get overlooked!.
I was a diabetic for a couple of years before my girlfriend noticed I was displaying symptoms of diabetes!. She suggested I ask my doctor and sure enough, I tested positive!.
I was seeing my doctor regularly for other things before this and why he didn't check me, I'll never know!.
If he had, who knows what problems I might have avoided!.
