Question: Missed a Dose - Body is Freaking Out!.!.!.!.!?
I missed a dose of my medicine yesterday and my body has been acting out ever since!. I have been taking inderal (long acting) for POTS for a year and a half and I missed my first dose yesterday!. I definitely felt it and knew by the afternoon!. I took it and I felt alright for the rest of the day, but today I feel horrible!. I had a migraine earlier, I am wiped out, aching all over, and the back f my neck hurts really bad (just two spots near each of my ears)!. :( I don't know if there is anything the walk in clinic can do!.!.!. so I guess my questions are:
Should I be concerned!? Can a missed dose of inderal do this!? Or am I coming down with something!?Www@Answer-Health@Com

Answers:
For regular (short-acting) Inderal: Take the missed dose as soon as you remember!. If your next dose is less than 4 hours away, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time!.
For extended-release propranolol (Inderal LA, InnoPran XL and others): Take the missed dose as soon as you remember!. If your next dose is less than 8 hours away, skip the missed dose and take the medicine at the next regularly scheduled time!.
Do not take extra medicine to make up the missed dose!.
You may have possibly overdosed/underdosed slightly, so I wouldn't be too worried as of now!. If tomorrow, symptoms persist, I'd seek medical attention as soon as possible!
