Can crabs turn into head lice?!

Question:

Can crabs turn into head lice?

Answers:

There are three different types of lice; I have provided links to photos of each type.
1. Head lice (Pediculus humanus capitis) http://www.micropest.com/photos/head-lic...
2. Body lice (Pediculus humanus corporis) http://www.universalpest.com/images/fl_b...
3. Pubic lice (crabs) Pthirus pubis) http://www.knowledgerush.com/wiki_image/...

Pubic lice may also infest coarsely-haired areas such as beards, mustaches, legs, eyebrows, and eyelashes. They can indeed be found in the scalp sometimes.

Body lice usually live in folds of clothing and move to the back or sides of the person to feed. They are usually found in homeless people.

The usual head-lice victim is a child, age 3-11.

Lice may be killed with nonprescription shampoos. Do not use the shampoos around the eyes. There are also prescription products that can be used.
